Everyone is on a journey called Life. As with any journey, most people think of where they are going, how they are going to get there and what it is they will take with them. Irrespective of the destination, all travelers carry baggage.
Claudia asks viewers to evaluate the bags they are carrying through life. With the use of three actors used as props, she walks the viewer through an opportunity to look at the beliefs, feelings and skills they may be carrying.

For many people, the weight of their bags has become so heavy they sought out carts. For healing, these carts need to be identified and addressed. Claudia takes the viewer through examples of three often used carts to contain ones personal bags -substance abuse, an eating disorder or depression.
This video is a wonderful overview to how carried feelings and negative beliefs create a foundation for addictions and depression.
The Baggage Cart is a highly creative tool to use in working with clients affected by any addictive disorder, depression, or unresolved loss and grief issues. It's an excellent resource for individual or group work, relapse programs, family of origin work, and when addressing relationship issues.
